Official Contest Rules – Coverings 2025

Photography Contest

Organizer: Cerrad sp. z o.o., ul. Radomska 49B, 27-200 Starachowice, Poland
Contest Duration: From April 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM (ET) to May 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM (ET).

This contest is not a game of chance, and its outcome does not depend, in particular, on random events.
The contest is organized via the social media platform Instagram, in accordance with Instagram’s Terms of Use.


1. Eligibility

Participants must be natural persons of legal age who are legal residents of the United States.
Employees of the Organizer and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the contest.
Participation in the contest is free of charge and voluntary.
Individuals subject to U.S. sanctions or residing in territories subject to U.S. sanctions are not eligible to participate in the contest.


2. How to Enter

To participate in the contest, entrants must:

• Attend the Coverings 2025 trade show
• Take a photograph related to the event
• Post the photograph on Instagram
• Use the designated contest hashtag: #CerradCoverings2025
• Tag and follow the Organizer’s official Instagram account: cerrad_tiles

The participant’s Instagram account must be public and must not be fictitious. An account is deemed fictitious if it contains information other than the true personal data of the natural person operating the account.
By entering the contest, the participant represents and warrants that they are the original author and rights holder of the photograph submitted.


3. Submission Rules

• The photograph must be taken personally during the Coverings 2025 trade show.
• The photograph must not depict the likeness of any minor.
• Offensive, vulgar, illegal, or inappropriate content is prohibited.
• One post = one photograph. A participant may submit multiple unique entries, but only one entry may win a prize.
• By submitting a photograph, the participant grants the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the photograph for promotional purposes, with no time, quantity, or territorial limitations, across the following fields of exploitation:

In the scope of distributing the photograph – its presentation on the Organizer’s official fan page at https://www.instagram.com/cerrad_tiles/ and on the website www.cerrad.com, as well as public sharing of the photograph in a manner that allows anyone to access it at a place and time of their choosing.
The participant grants the Organizer consent to create derivative works, including the right to creatively transform, alter, and adapt the entire photograph or parts thereof; to publish it multiple times in promotional materials related to the contest, in publications of the Organizer, as well as on websites, and to use it for promotional and marketing purposes of the Organizer.

• The Organizer will be authorized to distribute the photograph without crediting the author.
• If the photograph contains the likeness of the participant, the participant, to the extent that they grant the license, consents to the distribution of their likeness as captured in the photograph submitted to the contest.


4. Selection of Winners

The evaluation of participants’ photographs will be conducted by a panel of judges consisting of 3 individuals representing the Organizer. The panel will assess the photographs based on the following criteria:

  • Formal criteria: compliance with the participation requirements set forth in the rules, adherence to the contest’s objectives and the rules.
  • Other criteria: creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme of the trade show.

All formal criteria must be met for a photograph to be considered for evaluation based on the remaining criteria.

In selecting the winning photographs, the panel will make their decisions based on their own subjective judgment, taking into account the criteria outlined in the Rules.


5. Prizes

1st place: power bank, notebook, travel set, surprise

2nd place: power bank, notebook, pencil

3rd place: power bank, notebook

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners in a manner agreed upon with the winning participants: either at the Organizer’s booth [option available until the conclusion of the Coverings 2025 trade show] or by shipping to the address provided by the winning participant. The Organizer will cover the shipping costs.

The prize will be forfeited if:

  • The participant fails to provide the Organizer with the necessary information required to provide the prize within 5 days of the announcement of the contest results;
  • The prize sent by the Organizer is not collected by the winning participant within the specified timeframe.

A forfeited prize will remain at the Organizer’s disposal. The participant will have no claims against the Organizer in this regard.


6. Announcement of Results

The contest results will be announced on May 2, 2025, on the Organizer’s official fan page. Winners will also be notified via private message. The list of winners will be made public.

The winning participant is required to confirm to the Organizer, within 5 business days, that they meet the conditions set forth in Sections 1–3 of the Rules.

In the event that a winning participant:

  • Fails to confirm to the Organizer that they meet the conditions specified in Sections 1–3 of the Rules;
  • Does not fulfill all requirements set forth in the Rules;
  • Violates third-party rights or the Instagram Terms of Use;
  • Submits a false declaration;

– the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the winning participant and to award the prize to another participant in their place. A disqualified participant forfeits any right to the prize.


7. Rights and Liability

The Organizer declares that the contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (“Meta”), including the Instagram platform. Meta is not responsible for the contest, and each participant fully and irrevocably releases Meta from any liability in connection with the contest. All questions, comments, complaints, or claims related to the contest should be directed to the Organizer and not to Meta. This release of liability in favor of Meta does not affect the Organizer’s responsibilities toward the participant in connection with their participation in the contest. The above provisions regarding Meta shall also apply to the organizers of the Coverings trade show.

The Organizer shall not be held liable for any technical issues on the Instagram platform that may arise during the contest. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from the submission of false information or any other irregularities attributable to the participants.


8. Personal Data

The controller of the personal data of contest participants is Cerrad sp. z o.o., ul. Radomska 49B, 27-200 Starachowice, Poland. The controller processes participants’ data within the following scope: first name, last name, email address, mailing address, and contact telephone number.

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to participate in the contest and to receive a prize.

The controller processes participants’ personal data for the purpose of conducting and settling the contest, based on the Controller’s legitimate interest.

Personal data may also be disclosed for the purposes of financial audits, based on the Controller’s legitimate interests related to the need to monitor the use of financial resources.

Personal data may be processed by third-party entities that provide services to the Controller involving data processing; however, such entities shall act solely on the instructions of the Controller and shall not acquire any independent right to process the data.

Personal data processed in connection with the administration and settlement of the contest will be stored until the expiry of the statute of limitations for claims or the expiry of the period required to retain contest documentation under applicable accounting regulations—whichever period is longer.

Data subjects whose personal data is processed by the Controller have the right to request access to their data, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. The availability of specific rights may depend on the legal basis of the particular processing activity.

Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.


8. Final Provisions

Participation in the contest is voluntary and constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules as well as acknowledgment of the information regarding the processing of personal data by the contest Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time. Such actions will not result in any costs or liabilities for the participants.
