Italy has always been associated with art, the best designs, craftsmanship and a place where artists, manufacturers, designers, companies and investors come to from all over the world. And it was Italy that hosted an exciting event last week, an event that will inspire a variety of new interior design trends in the upcoming months – especially when it comes to ceramics and bathroom furnishings. Cerrad, which happened to prepare a true design feast for the fair’s visitors this year, could not miss this special happening that is Cersaie.

The International Trade Fair of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furnishings – Cersaie was held in Bologna from the 26th to the 30th of September. During its five days, the 39th edition of the fair featured over 92,000 different entries – it was an increase of 50% in comparison to last year, which was the first year for large fairs after the difficult pandemic break. 1 615000 ft² of exhibition space, 14 exhibition halls, over 600 exhibitors from 134 countries. It is the largest event of this type, an event which allows you to draw inspiration from around the world – after all, good design, art and creativity have no limits today.

The organizers offered a variety of interesting activities and unique creative spaces. One of them was Tiling Town – a place with free tile laying demonstrations, large-format logistics, workshops for tilers, architects and interior decorators. Cersaie also arranged spaces where you could get free interior design tips provided by the top designers who happen to work with famous Italian design magazines on a daily basis. Their expertise was not only useful to designers who wanted to enrich their knowledge, but also to investors who were interested in renovating or buying a house. And all of this was happening whilst surrounded by modern technologies and the latest design know-how.

Cerrad at Cersaie

Cerrad was present at the fair for the 7th time! And encouraged by last year’s success, the company prepared even more large caliber surprises this year.

– Inspiration, creativity, technology – are three words that would describe our presentation at Cersaie last year. So, we have set the bar very high for ourselves for this year’s fair- and it was worth it! I say with great pride that at this year’s exhibition stand we presented 20 new collections.  Collections that we have been working on for the past few months – says Paweł Smolarek, Chief Product Officer at Cerrad. – We took care of every detail and we presented quality and design that couldn’t be ignored – adds Paweł Smolarek.

It is not without reason that the Cerrad brand chose the Cersaie Fair as the venue to premiere the company’s latest collections. – This event has gone beyond what a standard presentation for a companies’ portfolio may be and it has become a determinant for future direction of this broad industry. Presenting at the fair is proof that you are active in the global ceramics market and that your position on that market is among some of the top global manufacturers – says Filip Cegłowski, Chief Commercial Officer Cerrad.

In addition to the showcasing of new products, the manufacturer arranged many interesting activities and surprises, including a visit of Joanna Przetakiewicz – ambassador of the Cerrad x La Mania Home project, along with an extraordinary premiere of a promotional film for both of the brands.

– I am very glad that the project we created together was so well received. Last year, our collections premiered at Cersaie. This year, we presented our advertising position, which will soon start our joint advertising campaign. Knowing that the space in which we live and exist often defines our well-being and our everyday life, it was with great joy and hope that we went a step further and established collaboration with the Cerrad brand. We believe that the interiors express a person’s character and emotions, and that they have an extraordinary power to convey feelings – says Joanna Przetakiewicz, Ambassador of the project.
